Our Online Forum
Some time ago Board Member Darsie Bell launched a forum for the club. With several new members in the club since then, I thought it would be a good idea to bring some attention to it. Click on the link below to visit it...
Thanks to Greg Smith and Darse Bell for their efforts to put us on Facebook.

October
2nd: Regular club meeting at Amante's Pizza & Pasta, 4201 Sunset Blvd NE, Renton.
5th - 6th - 7th: Tour de Tillamook!
Lodging has been found and rooms reserved! Our lunch arrangements for Sunday are taken care of and now the hunt for a restaurant for our Sunday night banquet is on! Once the route instructions are finished (perhaps in March), the banquet is finalized, and the cost calculated we will open registration to prior year participants first and then to everyone else a couple of months later.
This year we have reserved 25 rooms, that is 5 more than our normal quota. Twenty-two rooms are single kings and three are double queens (one double queen is taken). We are holding those five rooms just for FEN members who have not joined us on a tour in prior years. In 2012 the club welcomed 12 new members and this is their chance (actually any club member) to join in a special event!
Note that this is a special deal for our club's members since tour registration will open first and only to participants from prior years. Registration will not open to the general car hobby community until late spring/early summer.
Information packets with registration forms will be provided to club members and past tour participants as soon as we have determined the total event package costs. The registration fee will cover two nights lodging with breakfast, a lunch, a banquet meal, a route book, and some modest SWAG. We expect the registration fee to be less than $350.00 per couple!
Please refer to the event website to determine if the car you wish to bring will qualify (All Fiats, Lancias, and Alfa Romeos do of course!)
Follow the event preparation progress at the tour series website: Fall Classic Tour. You can also read about past events and see photos...
20th: Fall Leaves Tour. A day tour in the local area organized by the Dan & Sooz Rian, details will be posted when announced.

About FIAT Enthusiasts Northwest:
FEN is a fun loving group of Italian car (FIAT, Lancia, and Alfa Romeo) enthusiasts who meet regularly throughout the year. In general, our club is geared towards social rather than the technical, although you will find all sorts represented. Club meetings are held monthly, except for July and December. A picnic in July and a holiday party in December take the place of regular meetings. The regular meeting location alternates monthly between Kenmore and Renton. FEN also hosts rallies and other events throughout the year. Check the calendar for a full schedule of events and gatherings.
We welcome owners of vintage cars or new cars equally!
Our organization was founded in 1990 by a core group of enthusiasts who wanted to recognize FIAT and Lancia autos as affordable, drivable sports cars and sedans. Our first event that spring (a rallye to Snoqualmie Falls and Duvall/Carnation) drew 30 eager participants! Since then our club has grown to include an interesting variety of people, averaging 40 members. Our members have owned everything from FIAT 124s to Lancia Fulvias, including 600s, 850s, 128s, Bravas, Betas, Zagatos, and X1/9s. Some cars are "daily drivers" while others could be considered "garage queens", many are enjoyed rain or shine!
Club activities have included many rallies and runs (not always serious, but a lot of fun), one annual weekend trip to a variety of Northwest points of interest, and we participation in other sports car club events. We also host an occasionaly tech session. For many years in the late summer, we have actively participated in both the Festa Italiana at Seattle Center. Additionally, we attend the "car corral" at the annual historic races at Pacific Raceway in early July. Members have raced and many others are spectators at other events sponsored by SOVREN (Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts Northwest).
Starting in 1997, we began participating in FIAT/Lancia events farther from home, starting with an event on the scenic coast of Oregon that branched into an annual Italian car and cycle show in North Vancouver, BC and then on to an event on Monterey Bay in California. We have developed close ties with FIAT America (centered around the Bay Area of California), and some enjoyed driving their cars to Monterey for the autocross, tour and car show held in conjunction with the Italian Concorso, historic racing at Laguna Seca, and the famous Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August.
FEN celebrated its ten-year anniversary in August 2000 by inviting our FIAT and Lancia enthusiast friends from Oregon, California, British Columbia and all of Washington to join us for a long weekend of fun in the sun. We hosted members and friends from other clubs (including FIAT America, SOVREN and the Spokane Italian Car Club) for two rallies, a traditional Native American salmon feast, poker run, "blind" gymkhana (where the navigator directs a blindfolded driver around a mowed grass track) and a gourmet barbecue in the woods of Whidbey Island. The final event was a pancake breakfast and car show held on the waterfront in Edmonds.
